Prof. Giovanni Galizia
Doktor der ZoologieNach dem Studium der Biologie an der Freien Universität Berlin 1993, war er zunächst bis 1995 als Post-doc Fellow am Max-Planck Institut für Entwicklungsbiologie, Tübingen tätig, gefolgt von seiner Arbeit als Post-doctoral Fellow an der Freien Universität Berlin von 1995 bis 1999, wo er in den folgenden Jahren bis 2002 als unabhängiger Forschungsgruppenleiter arbeitete. 2003 bis 2005 wirkte er als Professor für Entomologie an der University of California, Riverside. Seit 2005 ist er Professor der Zoologie und Neurobiologie an der Universität Konstanz sowie Direktor des Zukunftskollegs der Universität.
